In 2004, ReardonSmith won planning consent for the conversion of a Georgian Grade II listed terrace in Great Cumberland Place, London W1 into a boutique hotel and apartments. The application, which was described by the Chairman of the Planning Sub-Committee as establishing a new benchmark in professionalism and quality of response, was for the development of an 83-bedroom hotel with a restaurant/bar, fitness studio and three meeting rooms. The project was subsequently handed over for construction by another team.
