What do you enjoy most about your job?
I think my visits to Hong Kong (my parent’s birthplace) sparked my curiosity, especially with the high tech towers, the harbour and mountains. This was the first spark which made me want to pursue a path in this career since my teenage years.
What is essential for delivering a great project?
Open communication and collaboration. I think all parties should work together towards a common goal. This would create a more efficient way of working.
Where do you find ideas?
Growing up I watched a lot of science fiction media such as Red Dwarf, Akira and Spaceballs was were awe inspiring with the scenes and filming sets created to whisk us away from reality.
My working methods have been moulded by books such as Checklist Manifesto by Atul Gawande and Brian Tracy’s Eat That Frog. Fear, other people’s opinions and our inner thoughts can make us procrastinate and hold us back sometimes.
What recharges you on weekends?
Playing tourist/walking around the city, eating and watching mindless YouTube videos about food and walking around different cities.
