Why did you choose architecture as a career?

I chose architecture because it brings creativity and practicality together. I like beautiful ideas, and, especially, I love figuring out how to make them work in real life.

What is your design approach?

I always start by really understanding the brief, the context, and the constraints, and then I let the design grow from there, usually beginning with hand sketches before refining it digitally.

What inspires you in architecture?

I’m inspired by a beautiful idea meeting reality, when trying to make something happen means solving practical challenges, and by doing that, it actually becomes more beautiful. It’s that effortless perfection when function and design merge, and the result feels like a little masterpiece.

What’s an unexpected fact about you that few people know?

I spent over 11 years at sea as a ship officer, so I’ve swapped endless horizons for office views.
