Zera Abliazizova
Why did you choose architecture as a career?
I love organizing space and creating invisible scenarios for people’s lives. It’s fascinating to think how a well-designed environment can quietly guide everyday routines, emotions, and connections.
What is your design approach?
When I hit a creative block, I usually pause and change what I’m doing, even a short break or switching tasks helps me reset. I don’t try to force ideas they tend to come back naturally once the pressure is gone.
Where do you find ideas?
I find ideas through diverse interests, from floristry to films and visual culture and through exploring different cities and cultures. I enjoy learning their history and observing how the contrasts between old and new shape the way we experience the present.
What’s a fact about you that few people know?
I’m originally from Crimea and I speak six languages!
